Grateful Dead T-Shirts and Sweatshirts
Hats r Back
February 20th, 2013
We have been down to just a couple of Grateful Dead hats for so long (about half a year) that it is stunning to have a dozen suddenly back again. A little ahead of the curve for those of us in New England, but better than 18 months behind (as some of them have been).

The Mountain's New Shirts for 2013
Updated - February 19th, 2013

The Mountain spent the intervening weeks since their preview of the 2013 line well. Nearly all their new designs now await your browsing pleasure via the links below, with only a couple or so to trickle in (or perhaps, not).

Mountain Surprise
September 9th, 2012

The Mountain has just released 28 new designs in a special late-summer supplement to their 2012 catalog. There is a strong emphasis on Halloween and horror (particularly zombies). Perhaps to atone for these dark designs, there are also four unicorn shirts, and four with kittens. Awww...
The other feature of this release are the first in a new series for The Mountain: The Find It Series by Steven Michael Gardner. His nature artwork each contain many hidden images, inviting you to see how many you can find.

new Grateful Dead art
A favorite studio has recently released new deadhead art, curiously (even if coincidentally) including a lion shirt and a tiger shirt in additional to the traditional dancing bears. They grace T-shirts, hoodies, tank tops, and even decals. Oh my...

Summer Fantasies
June 20th, 2012

We are celebrating the advent of summer with a particularly diverse variety of new fantasy art...

...and with a a little dancing in the streets. Over the past few months, we have added a dozen or more great new designs each for three of my musical heroes: The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, and Jimi Hendrix.
And then, perhaps for variety's sake, there was also the first release of new Woodstock 1969 shirts that we have seen in a long time (three of them).... ...And then, Led Zeppelin is back with three of their most popular designs... ...And, finally, the lads from Down Under are back with their own trio of new designs. Hhhmmm...

Sticky Business

December 22nd, 2011

To celebrate the Winter Solstice (a day I find well worth celebrating), I have added over four dozen decals to Dharma Rose's offerings. They are perfect for adding warmth to the thin winter light, whether applied to your car, or even a special window at home for that personal stained-glass experience.

December 12th, 2011

Shhh... (again). Monty Python's Flying Circus shirts are just arriving and already a few sizes have sold out. So I thought I should let visitors know asap.

And now, for something completely different. Or, at least they will be. Expect the selection to change more often than "normal."

Grateful Dead Tapestries
Great things have been happening over in the Land of The Dead of late: from fresh Furthur shows and hot times at The Gathering, to lots of cool new Deadhead gear. The living is, indeed, easy.
New to our shelves are Grateful Dead tapestries... back to school, and all that. Ah, sweet nostalgia.

Mountain Rising

January 11th, 2011

By now, many of you are likely familiar with The Mountain's celebrated release of their new catalog in January. This year boasts about twelve dozen (can't bring myself to call them a gross) new designs to be released over the next six weeks or so. You can see those that are available now at the link below.

New from Native Northwest

December 12th, 2010

native northwest shirt Our Native Northwest collection has long been a labor of love at Dharma Rose. This beautiful artwork by native artists from the Pacific Northwest is the most sublime in our entire collection.
We are pleased to announce a release of nine new designs from this unique studio, including two youth shirts, our first Native Northwest long-sleeve shirts, and even a zippered hoodie. Just in time for your next potlatch.

Grateful Dead T-Shirts and Sweatshirts
May 10th, 2010
We continue to build our collection of Grateful Dead designs that are usually available in 3XL, and occasionally in 4XL and 5XL. In this quest we are even having some designs printed in those larger sizes just for us, when that is what it takes. In that spirit, we are particularly pleased to announce that we now have, for the first time, Grateful Dead hoodies in size 3XL.

Fine Porcelain Pendants
March 21st, 2010

Sacred Tree Celtic dog Brigantia Celtic heart
Every so often we find items that we simply fall in love with and just have to share with our visitors, even if they do not fit our traditional shelves. We offer these pendants from that special place in our heart. The exquisite art is imbued with millennia of Celtic symbolism and legends.
This beautiful Celtic jewelry was originally developed in Scotland and is now handcrafted in Michigan from fine porcelain clay. These Celtic designs are original illustrations by artists from Scotland, Canada and the United States based on traditional Celtic themes. A unique process allows for more detail in designs than other mediums, ideal for intricate Celtic art. The designs are fired into the clay at 2,200 degrees, so they will not peel or wear off.

If A Rose Tweets In The Woods...?
March 6th, 2010

Yes, this is yet another example of dear-old-dad lagging years behind his beloved sons and wife, who are all hip to the Twitter revolution. So Dharma Rose now has a Twitter feed. It is my best intention to use this modern miracle to update kindred folks on the micro-news of new (and of discontinued) shirts and other Dharma Rose news that seems to happen whimsically every week or so. This should offer the most pithy and often-updated news about Dharma Rose, eclipsing the more-detailed news in our Dharma Rose Newsletter and Facebook pages.

Dharma Rose Mobile?!
January 24th, 2010
True confession time here: I don't even own an old-school brick-style cellphone, let alone one of these whizbang internet-ready techno-phones or touch-thingies. But, each of our three sons do own such devices, and encourage me to at least bring Dharma Rose into the 21st century, even if I remain a neo-Luddite.
So I am trying to offer a skinny version of Dharma Rose to our wireless friends out there. I have always tried to make the site as beautiful as possible (a sign of the frustrated artist within), and have voraciously consumed screen real-estate, so I have only been able to reduce to a 480 pixel width.
Please let me know if these pages are helpful, or if they are merely frustrating (and why). I will certainly continue the Dharma Rose Home (screen-hog) Version! Any suggestions are most welcome. The most robust section so far is our Mobile Grateful Dead store, but be warned you will be able to get places that are not yet (ahem) finished, so please accept my apologies in advance.

Facebook
February 12, 2008

I probably should have listened to our eldest son in 2004 when he insisted we had to check out the latest and hippest network on the face of the web, but given my lingering use of the word "hippest," clearly I was not ready. Better-late-than-never, Dharma Rose has finally joined the Facebook revolution. I have lots to learn before I can develop the page so it becomes a vibrant nexus for fans, friends, and family, but in the mean time, you are invited to visit and leave comments and reviews, and by all means become a fan!
